Location:
Piedmont Cartersville
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP equipment and maintenance, and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP equipment and its maintenance.
- Administer direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Education:
- Graduate of a RCIS program, or
- Graduate from a nursing program, or
- Graduate of respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology program.
Work Experience:
- No experience required.
Licenses and
Certifications:
- Healthcare experience (see above) requires applicable license upon hire.
- If a graduate of RCIS program, RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.
- ACLS upon hire.
