A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice and ensures the best possible journey for every patient. The CS takes the patient through the initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce the patient to the optometrist and provide the optometrist with important patient information.
• Transition the patient from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day‑to‑day operational activities to support the store’s exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.

Pay Rate: $11.09 – $14.97 per hour.
