Overview
Provides strategic and operational leadership for the development of the oncology service line at Piedmont Cartersville.
ResponsibilitiesJOB PURPOSE: Provides strategic and operational leadership for the development of the oncology service line so that a full continuum of services is created and structured in response to customer needs (patient, payer and physician). Planning, implementing, directing, monitoring and promoting all current and new cancer programs and services.
QualificationsMINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from a Nursing program OR graduate from an ARRT accredited radiation therapy program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Five (5) years' experience in Oncology with three (3) years supervisory/management experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: ARRT (R) OR RN License
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: National Certification (ONS
- Oncology Nursing Society) preferred
