Cartersville Center for Nursing and Healing is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Tech to join our team! In this role, you'll help maintain a warm, welcoming, home-like atmosphere for our residents — from spotless rooms to fresh, clean linens. This isn't just a cleaning job — it's a meaningful role where you'll brighten lives every day.
What You'll Do:- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and shared facilities
- Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry, including linens and resident clothing
- Distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas and resident rooms
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow cleaning protocols and infection control procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Handle clothing and linens with care and respect
- Ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all residents
- Work alongside a supportive and compassionate team
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience (especially in healthcare or long-term care — a plus, but not required!)
- Ability to lift and carry laundry bags and push carts
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- A positive, friendly attitude and genuine desire to serve others
