Service Manager

Description

We are a leading import automotive dealership seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead our service department. This is a search for a top performer who can drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability in a premium environment.

• - Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.
• - Hire, train, motivate, and manage service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
• - Develop and manage the department budget, controlling costs while maximizing profitability.
• - Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction scores through proactive issue resolution and relationship building.
• - Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty standards, safety protocols, and dealership policies.
• - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, retention, and efficiency metrics.
• - Collaborate with sales and parts departments to optimize overall dealership performance.

• - Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in automotive service management, preferably in a high-volume luxury or premium brand dealership.
• - Proven track record of achieving service department sales and profitability goals.
• - Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
• - Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.
• - Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• - ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred.
• - Bachelor’s degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field preferred but not required.
