Fork Truck Operator / Truck Driver Helper
Key Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently move lumber, materials, and finished products throughout the plant.
- Assist with deliveries to customer job sites.
- Build loads for deliveries and maintain a safe, organized lumber yard.
- Operate a forklift safely and maintain a professional, customer‑focused image.
1st Shift
Grooming & Uniform Requirements- Neat grooming and good hygiene required.
- Uniform includes 84 Lumber shirt, pants, work boots, and PPE as needed.

ResponsibilitiesTrain in all areas of the Yard Department to include operating various types of mobile and fixed equipment including forklifts, and loaders. Training includes required hours for each job position and practical test to be a qualified operator.
Interpret all operational procedures and parameters, including Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Recommend improvements to make the workplace safer for self and others.
Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs.
Works well with team members or independently; gives and receives feedback in a constructive manner.
Qualifications- Able to read and write in their primary language.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic math skills.
- 84 Components Fork Truck License.
- Makes timely and sound decisions; uses resources wisely.
- Displays a positive, can‑do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations.
