Manufacturing Quality Engineer

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in establishing and executing strategies to achieve global quality excellence. This position is central to the development and implementation of unified quality systems and standards across manufacturing sites in the United States, South Korea, and Malaysia. Key responsibilities include designing global quality strategies, ensuring compliance with organizational rules and systems, and managing digital quality management systems to enhance operational efficiency.

This role also focuses on creating and maintaining global quality manuals, standards, and procedures, while monitoring adherence to company-wide regulations. It leads initiatives to prevent quality incidents, standardize preventive measures, and elevate overall quality performance across all sites. Key activities include efficiently managing supplier quality assurance systems, overseeing supplier changes and approvals, and proactively evaluating raw materials. Additionally, the role involves addressing customer claims promptly, implementing preventive strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, and sharing best practices across all locations.

Through collaboration with regional teams, this position ensures the alignment of quality objectives with corporate goals, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.

• Strategic Development:
  Design and execute comprehensive plans to improve global quality performance, aligning quality objectives with corporate strategies to maintain a competitive edge in manufacturing excellence.
• Project Leadership:
  Lead and manage company-wide quality improvement initiatives that focus on enhancing systemic efficiency and achieving process standardization across all manufacturing sites.
• System and Process Management:
  Develop, implement, and manage global rules, standards, and quality control processes. Administer and continuously enhance the global document and quality management system to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  Create, maintain, and update global quality manuals, standards, and procedural documents. Monitor adherence to internal quality regulations, identify gaps, and drive improvements to ensure consistent compliance across all locations.
• Preventive Measures and Incident Management:
  Establish proactive systems to prevent quality issues before they arise. Lead the resolution of customer complaints, ensuring rapid and effective responses, while implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Supplier and Material Quality Assurance:
  Build and manage supplier quality assurance systems, including overseeing change management protocols. Conduct advanced quality assessments and evaluations of raw materials to ensure consistency and meet quality standards.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
  Foster cross-functional and cross-site collaboration to share best practices, lessons learned, and innovations in quality management. Drive initiatives to standardize and optimize quality systems across the organization to elevate overall performance.
• Quality Testing Oversight:
  Monitor and evaluate quality testing procedures, identify gaps in testing protocols, and implement improvements to ensure the highest testing standards.

• Education:
  
  A bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of full-time experience in Quality Engineering or a related role within the manufacturing sector.
