- Enter orders, manage or elevate any concerns and ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ concerns
- Work with price lists and/or other department heads to determine charges for products requested
- Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services
- Assist Outside Salesman with day to day needs
- Maintain customer service email inbox to make sure all orders, issues, and questions are resolved in a timely manner
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Coordinate the shipment of certain orders
- Customer management from order receipt, verification, entry through to shipment and follow-up
- Prepares and sends quotes and provides written proposals to customers and potential customers
- Assist with warranty and claim resolution
- Schedule freight appointments and coordinate staff and other meetings
- File and maintain all pertinent communications, order and shipping related records
- Assist in the resolution of customer issues
- Updates customer records
- Customer order follow up & shipment notification
- Other duties as assigned
