We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our family of caregivers.
About the Role:As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Carthage, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) team is dedicated to providing individualized care and therapy to our residents, with a focus on improving communication skills and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Provide speech and language therapy to residents, including group and individual sessions
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Keep accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and resident progress
- Participate in staff training and education to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
