Responsibilities and Duties- You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Adhere to all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
- Staffing and scheduling.
- Paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Cost controls and profitability analysis.
- Food management and preparation.
- Work to a schedule.
- Maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards.
- Deliver great customer service.
- Maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Transportation to and from work.
- Store cleanliness and maintenance.
- Marketing and promotional activities.
- Driving responsibilities: deliver product by car, deliver flyers and door hangers, and navigate delivery routes safely.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare pizza products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Ability to comprehend and.
- Proficiency in verbal communication with customers and co‑workers.
- Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator be used).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Standing, walking, climbing, and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Carrying large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), and trays of pizza dough (12 lb each).
- Pushing trays on dollies that may weigh 24‑30 lb and require up to 7.5 lb of force.
- Occasional crawling, squatting, and kneeling when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
- Frequent hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination and use of forearms and wrists.
- Operating equipment such as pizza peel, rolling cutter, and pizza cutter.
- Driving duties requiring navigation of three‑story buildings, multiple flights of stairs, and adverse terrain.
