Master Electrician – Immediate Opening Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting and control.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
  • Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
  • Expertise in using various electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, and hand tools.
  • Working knowledge of 480 volt, three‑phase AC, 240/500 VDC, VFD and PLC.
  • In‑depth understanding of the NEC and local electrical codes to ensure compliance and safety.
Safety
  • Knowledge in OSHA safety programs such as LO/TO, arc flash, confined space entry, proper PPE, machine safety and plant wide safety awareness.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safe work environments.
  • Follow best practices for installing and maintaining electrical systems to prevent accidents, including proper grounding, circuit protection, and adherence to specific guidelines.
  • Emergency preparedness by having a clear plan in place, including knowing how to shut off power quickly.
Environmental
  • Will be required to work in hot and cold environments.
  • May at times be exposed to weather elements.
  • May at times be exposed to work in wet conditions.
Education
  • Must have 3‑5 years of on‑the‑job experience in the trained area, or the successful completion of a technical program in electrical training.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred.
Additional
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and individually to complete projects.
  • Ability to work nights with the possibility of day shift openings as they become available.
