As a Sanitation Worker,you will be trainedonthe proper techniques of cleaning production equipment,machines and work areas of our food manufacturing facility.

You willbe responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemical concentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. The sanitation team is expected to report any potential contamination issues and any safety concerns that may arise as part of the sanitation process.

• Perform daily sanitation of all processing lines.
• Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Maintain and clean water lines.
• Coordinates all daily sanitation activities withinthe plant.
• Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to cleanliness and product safety with the facility.
• Responsible for managing and reportingneedforsupplyof cleaning chemicals necessary for the operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with OSHA and all plant regulations.
• Assists operations tomaintainthe highest rating possible on all audits and inspections.
• Supports all Food Safety initiatives.

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.
• Ability to effectively plan,organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to train,maintain and promote a safe work environment.
• Read and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry level does not requirepreviousexperience in a Sanitation role.

• Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.
• Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
• Must be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing forlong periodsof time, and operating processing equipment.
• Ability tolift upto 80lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, colorvisionand the ability to adjust focus.
