Campaign Officer

Freeman Hospital, part of Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a fixed‑term Campaign Officer to support the Sir Bobby Robson Institute fundraising campaign.

As a Campaign Officer you will coordinate campaign events, support donor stewardship, manage enquiries, maintain campaign records and collaborate with fundraising and communications teams.

• Coordinate campaign events and activities
• Support donor stewardship and community engagement
• Manage enquiries and maintain accurate campaign records
• Work closely with fundraising and communications colleagues
• Deliver high quality administrative support to the fundraising team
• Monitor and evaluate campaign tactics and approaches, analysing and interpreting data
• Prepare reports for the Charity Committee and working groups

• Degree level or equivalent relevant work experience/qualifications
• Experience working across income streams – individual, community and corporate giving programmes
• Well‑developed financial literacy and experience of financial administration tasks
• Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences
• Experience delivering engagement and involvement projects
• IT literacy across Microsoft suite and CRM database packages
• Knowledge of NHS and charitable sector regulations

• Specialist qualification or CPD in fundraising
• Experience with CRM systems and social media communication
• Experience in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector
