Overview

Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS) is part of Spirax Group and provides electrical process heating and temperature management solutions, including industrial heaters, heat tracing systems, and component technologies.

Durex Industries, one of the businesses under ETS, has more than 40 years of expertise in the thermal control business. It supplies custom engineering, manufacturing, testing, laboratory, and quality assurance services to a range of sectors such as process industries, life sciences, plastics processing, food and packaging, aerospace, defense, and security.

Material Handler

$17.00/hr - $17.51/hr

As the Material Handler, you will unload, check and compare material to purchase orders, verify count and part numbers, receive and store materials, and prepare materials for use in all production areas. You will maintain records reflecting receipts and disbursements.

• Receive purchase orders/materials, assuring accuracy of receipts and completion of material on a daily basis.
• Label material properly with correct part numbers and distribute it to departments/inventory locations as required.
• Inspect, count, weigh, or measure material or items from incoming shipments for correct part number and count, verifying information against purchase order or packing list.
• Record receipts in the computer system and place materials in the correct location.
• Perform cycle counting and make adjustments to inventory records as directed.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of material handling experience.
• Dependable and able to read scales and rulers.
• Computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Supervisor.
• Effective communication with employees, supervisors, and management.
• Safety and quality minded with a good work ethic.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Self‑starter who takes responsibility for own actions and decisions.
• Ability to label material properly.
• Previous experience using a material resource planning system is a plus.
