Are you the person others call when a setup gets tricky, tolerances tighten, or G-code needs a tweak? At Durex Industries, we’re growing—and we’re looking for a CNC lathe expert ready to own the process from setup through verification on 1st shift.
We’re actively hiring CNC lathe professionals and offering up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Your Mission Build reliable, repeatable machining processes that produce high-precision components. You’ll operate and improve CNC turning and milling workflows while mentoring teammates, coordinating schedules, and keeping materials moving so customer deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
What Success Looks Like Turning and milling centers run smoothly, producing parts to spec from work orders, routers, and blueprints.
Close-tolerance setups are executed by interpreting drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals; computerized instructions are installed and verified.
Quality gates are passed with in-process checks, operational tests, and final inspections using precision metrology.
Documentation is complete and accurate—forms, reports, logs, and records are signed and current.
Troubleshooting eliminates downtime and defects; improvements are captured for future runs.
Workflow, production scheduling support, inventory, and material management are coordinated proactively.
Operators receive training and guidance; leadership is demonstrated through example.
Additional assignments are handled with professionalism and urgency.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Comfortable with calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprint reading.
Experienced with CNC controls and cutting tools.
Capable of deburring and part handling to exact customer standards.
Works independently; safety- and quality-minded.
Organized, detail-driven communicator across departments and management.
Owns results and understands the impact of decisions on others.
