Can you read a blueprint, visualize the cut, and translate it into flawless G-code? Do you enjoy dialing in tool offsets, validating features with micrometers and indicators, and mentoring teammates—all on cutting-edge equipment? If so, Durex Industries wants you on our 2nd Shift CNC team. And yes—there’s an up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.
Role Snapshot Own the setup, operation, and optimization of CNC milling centers (with exposure to turning) to build high-precision components per routers, work orders, and customer blueprints.
Study drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals; load/verify programs; set work/tool offsets; and validate geometry.
Run quality tests and operational checks; document results meticulously across forms, reports, logs, and records.
Verify dimensions and features using precision metrology (calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders) and GD&T.Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; refine tooling strategies; maintain machine alignment and accuracy.
Depending on experience, coordinate workflow, support production scheduling, manage materials, train operators, and contribute to team leadership.
Tackle additional tasks as needed to keep commitments to our customers.
You Bring High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Proven ability with CNC controls and cutting tools; expert at safe deburring and part handling to customer requirements.
Independent, organized, detail-accurate, and safety/quality driven; communicates clearly and owns outcomes.
