Position Overview
The Associate Technician, Quality Control supports essential laboratory operations and quality control activities. This role assists with routine analytical and microbial testing, reagent preparation, laboratory maintenance, sampling, and documentation to help ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare reagents and solutions for routine and non-routine analyses, including diluents and culture media.
- Perform pH analysis on reagents and solutions used for routine testing.
- Conduct routine and non-routine sampling and processing of production lines for cleaning surveillance.
- Perform laboratory maintenance activities, including equipment preventive maintenance, waste disposal, and cleaning of laboratory areas.
- Clean, organize, and stock laboratory glassware and supplies.
- Order, receive, and log laboratory supplies and reagents.
- File, copy, and maintain records in accordance with record-retention requirements.
- Support other laboratory operations and quality control activities as needed.
