The company is headquartered in Cary, NC, with offices in Montreal and Tel Aviv.
We are looking for an individual who can perform day-to-day accounting functions of the business including but not limited to the following: AR collections, AP processing, and various administrative functions following established procedures to accomplish duties. This role will be located in our US headquarters office in Cary, NC.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for multiple subsidiaries, researching discrepancies and submitting timely to management for review.
- Perform accounts payable function for U.S. and Canadian companies and maintain all vendor files.
- Prepare and record intra-month and month-end journal entries associated with various business functions
- Handles all collections activities for the Company, applying judgement to sensitive and complicated contract arrangements.
- May assist other departments with ad-hoc projects, including research.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with employees, clients, and all community and business contacts.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner. Ability to collaborate with others.
- Utilize time management and problem-solving skills to efficiently perform job duties.
- Maintain an acceptable and professional personal appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of private business matters and HIPAA-protected information.
- Complete other duties as assigned, to meet ongoing needs of the company.
We’re looking for a collaborative professional with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting, with a heavy emphasis on Accounts Receivable.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to quickly compare financial data and identify discrepancies and errors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Xlookups, SUMif). Net Suite and Microsoft Business Central or Microsoft CRM experience is a plus.
- CPA candidate is a plus.
