Main Accountabilities

• Process:
  Perform necessary activities for the month end close of the Accounting Center, including preparation of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and calculation and recording of monthly entries as necessary
• Process:
  Perform analysis of accounts and generate entries as necessary
• Process:
  Apply Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, Group Accounting standards, and local GAAP compliance and compliance with Group Charter
• Process:
  Comply with and help to achieve strong Internal Control over Financial Reporting and General Accounting
• Process:
  Commit to improve processes a culture of learning
• Customer:
  Meet commitments and deliver high quality services to business partners
• Customer:
  Commit to and deliver professional ownership of service levels
• Customer:
  Commit to customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners are provided the service levels agreed

  Participate in special projects as necessary to support the General Accounting and Reporting departments

  Contribute to development and training of junior staff

  Support and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications and other related activities

Basic Qualifications

• 3 plus years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
• Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• SAP, or similar ERP knowledge
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of reporting structure including reporting units, business units, product groups, trading partners, and partner profit center

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in shared service industry preferred.
