JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a Roadway Project Manager for our North Carolina Transportation Team. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of transportation and public works projects, with knowledge of Civil 3D, Micro Station, Openroads, or Geopak.
Responsibilities- Lead plan production for highway design projects.
- Review work, including QA/QC of plans and specifications.
- Mentor and train staff.
- Understand roadway design, hydrology, hydraulics, structures, and traffic‑related items.
- Develop strategies and teaming arrangements.
- Handle three to five direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within four months.
- 7‑11 years of experience in roadway design projects (DOT projects preferred).
- Proficiency in roadway design software (Micro Station & AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of DOT standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Relationships with DOT preferred.
The approximate compensation range for this position is $93,000 to $140,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
