Your impact:
We are seeking an experienced Sr Project Controls Professional to support an ongoing site-based assignment in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rogue, LA
, with future projects also requiring on-site presence across the U.S. This senior-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with a strong background in cost control and construction progress tracking.

You will work as part of a dedicated project controls team, collaborating closely with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
  • Manage all cost control elements, including
    • Budget development and updates
    • Scope change tracking
    • Expenditure and forecast reporting
  • Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
  • Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managers.
  • Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Track and report on construction physical progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on cost management and field operations.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project controls teams, construction teams, and vendors.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for on-site assignments.
