Dispatch Health is actively hiring Medical Technicians to join our growing clinical team servicing the Raleigh/Durham NC area. We are looking for energetic, hard‑working individuals with strong organizational and customer service skills to work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA‑certified mobile laboratory. This individual will be directly involved in daily patient care while gaining valuable experience on an ongoing basis.
Extensive on‑the‑job training will be provided for this exciting opportunity in mobile healthcare.

Shifts:
10‑hour shifts (8:00 am – 6:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm) - Work‑Life Balance: you’ll be required to work 3–4 shifts per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

- Hourly: $17 – $21
- Holds an Advanced EMT or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification
- BLS & CPR certified
- Ready to represent the company with a company vehicle provided for your use
- Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
- IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
- Splint application
- Wound care
- Work directly with point‑of‑care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration, and maintenance
- Perform EKGs
- Assist NP/PA in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
- Documentation
- Supply and stocking
- Medical Technician with IV certification
- Basic certification with NC, AEMT license (hiring credential only)
- Bachelor’s degree in core or lab science and at least 2 years’ experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with i‑STAT device (encouraged)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- BLS, American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
