What You’ll Be Doing:As a Respiratory Therapist at Wake Med, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top‑tier respiratory care to patients of all ages — from newborns to seniors. You’ll work closely with physicians and the care team to:
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and advanced airway management
- Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
- Conduct electrocardiograms and manage mechanical ventilation
- Evaluate therapy effectiveness and communicate with the healthcare team
- Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- A diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive environment
Choose the incentive that works best for you:
- $5,000 with a 1-year commitment
- $10,000 with a 2-year commitment

Licensure- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- NC Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Certifications Required at Time of Hire:
- Basic Life Support (Adult & Neonatal/Peds)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
Experience1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
