They are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to help design, build, and scale their AWS‑based infrastructure. This is a hands‑on role focused on infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, Kubernetes operational excellence, and environment reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (preferably EKS), along with a passion for building scalable, maintainable systems that empower engineering teams. This role will be hybrid in Raleigh, North Carolina.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) skills using Terraform
- Hands‑on experience managing and operating Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or Power Shell)
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, and security best practices
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- 70% Infrastructure automation & cloud operations
- 30% Collaboration, monitoring, and process improvement
- Design, build, and enhance AWS infrastructure to support application growth and scalability
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for consistent, repeatable deployments
- Operate and optimize EKS clusters, including workloads, scaling, and security
- Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD workflows and streamline delivery
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability
- Implement automation to reduce manual effort and strengthen security posture
- Contribute to long‑term Dev Ops strategy and cloud infrastructure roadmap
