Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage ongoing monitoring requirements for AI use cases across Lines of Business, ensuring alignment with risk tiering and control partner expectations.
  • Track and document the execution of medium and high‑risk controls, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented, monitored, and validated.
  • Provide independent QA oversight of risk assessments, validating consistency, completeness, and accuracy of risk ratings and control recommendations.

  • Coordinate periodic assessments of AI use cases based on risk level, ensuring timely updates to risk ratings and control effectiveness.
  • Maintain a centralized risk registry using the IBM Watson governance platform and provide visibility into the RUAI risk landscape.
  • Partner with control functions (Ethical AI, Privacy, Information Security, Model Risk, Legal, etc.) and business teams to ensure monitoring responsibilities are clearly defined and escalated when necessary.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and lessons learned from monitoring activities to inform updates to policies, training, and governance practices.
  • Stay current on emerging regulatory requirements and industry standards such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and EU AI Act.
  • Prepare and deliver dashboards and updates to leadership and governance committees on monitoring outcomes, risk trends, assessment QA findings, and remediation progress.
Required Skills
  • 8–10 years of experience in risk management, IT risk, compliance, governance, or AI/data oversight roles.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technical, data, or governance‑related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Risk Management, Public Policy).
