Description and Requirements
Dev Ops automation engineer y, NC. Full‑time, hybrid. Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Azure Dev Ops, and other automation frameworks. Manage and troubleshoot the Ansible automation platform. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and onboard global teams.
Responsibilities- Design and implement automation solutions for deployment and configuration.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible and Azure Dev Ops.
- Implement and manage Ansible automation platform for configuration, orchestration, and application deployment.
- Design automated server deployment pipelines for efficient provisioning and management.
- Develop and enforce automation standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand automation requirements.
- Onboard and train global teams on the Ansible automation platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, deployment, and infrastructure performance issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Dev Ops and automation technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (also accepted foreign education equivalency).
- Four (4) years of experience automating deployments, managing pipelines, automating server provisioning, and deploying infrastructure in a Dev Ops role.
- Alternatively, Master’s degree with two (2) years of experience in similar activities.
- Experience with Ansible, Azure Dev Ops, shell, Python, or Power Shell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving automation and infrastructure issues through code.
- Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
Hybrid – 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote.
CompensationAnnual salary range: $127,796 – $130,000. Eligible for annual short‑term incentive compensation.
