Company Description America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions.

We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

Job Description "Develop and support of the Sev One monitoring platform
• Develop PERL Script using Sev One API interfaces Create script integrations/utilities utilizing Sev One (preferably PERL)
• Maintain current Sev One installation and Sev One user interface
• Perform product updates, upgrades and apply patches to the application and the underlying platform
• Work with different service owners to logically group individual data points into actionable categories
• Proactively identify gaps within the monitoring solution and remediating those gaps
• Work with service owners to filter irrelevant data and alerts
• Design and implement data and systems integrations with Sev One
• Configure monitoring for Windows servers using Windows WMI and WinRM protocols
• Utilize network performance tools detect network performance problems.
• Make changes/update to SMARTS to reflect the current state of the enterprise IT infrastructure
• Create, integrate, validate, evaluate, and test new or existing JAVA, PHP, and CSS scripts for the Sev One network management and monitoring product.

• B.S. in System Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in a System Engineering discipline.
• 2 years of experience creating reports with the Sev One
• 5 years of experience with PERL Scripting
• 3 years of experience using software version control systems such as Subversion/GIT
