Manual Tester QA

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in manual functional testing, black box / grey box testing
• Analyzes requirements, coordinate with BA's / Subject Matter Experts.
• Ability to review and understand functional requirements and technical design documents to the extent necessary to develop good test scripts.
• Ability to create and execute medium to complex SQL queries.
• Identifies test conditions and / or creates test cases.
• Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Creates / conditions test data for test execution.
• Executes manual / automation tests according to the Test Plans.
• Documents test results and reports defects.
• Identifies and reports risks.
• Coordinates Onshore / Offshore as needed.
• Manages day to day implementation of test process.
• All assigned courses pertaining to new technical / domain / learning tasks are accomplished within defined time frame.
• Must have sound understanding of software development and testing life cycle.
• Experience in defect reporting and management.
• Proven experience of multiple software development approaches / methodologies (Waterfall/Iterative/Agile).

• Should have hands on experience writing SQL Queries.
• Should have hands on experience on Test management tools like TFS.
• Good knowledge in Testing methodology/ Agile Methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
