• Communicate with Clients and other parties to provide updates and gather information
• Draft Pleadings, including Complaints, Motions, Discovery Requests, Subpoenas, Orders, and Affidavits, under the guidance of a lawyer
• Review and organize financial documents and prepare spreadsheets and Financial Affidavits
• Maintain Client files
• Schedule Hearings, Mediations, Depositions and Arbitrations
• File Pleadings with Court and communicate with Family Court, as needed
• Track and monitor Court filings and Court deadlines
• Interview witnesses and prepare summaries
• Prepare for Trial and Mediation
• Involvement with all aspects of a Family Law case Every member of our Team must follow our SMART Core Values which include:

Qualifications:
• Must possess organizational skills and time-management skills
• Strong research and writing skills
• Attention to detail is critical
• Someone who is compassionate and understanding
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Must be a Certified Paralegal by the North Carolina State Bar
• Prefer previous Family Law Experience
• This is an in-person position at our Cary, NC location Compensation: $55,000 - $95,000 yearly + benefits
