Responsibility Highlights- Proactive patrolling of assigned areas to deter criminal activity
- Lead crime‑prevention initiatives, community outreach, and workshops
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, demonstrating quick decision‑making
- Conduct thorough investigations of criminal activities, accidents, and incidents
- Enforce traffic laws through observation and radar use
- Engage with community members, businesses, and organizations
- Collaborate with fellow officers and other agencies to address complex issues

Applicants must demonstrate significant physical ability to maintain law‑enforcement certification. Tasks include walking, running, standing for extended periods, reaching, climbing, and operating in varied weather conditions while wearing uniform, body armor, and equipment. Visual acuity, hearing, and speech normalcy are required. A valid driver’s license is necessary. Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma with supplemental law‑enforcement training or experience.
