JOB SUMMARY /
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the execution of Supply Chain Services (SCS) processes that support the flow of goods into the divisions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
- Monitor and execute against Purchase Order Confirmation reporting.
- Maintain Purchase Order Tracking Systems.
- Perform Purchase Order Confirmation process to ensure correct Costing, Quantity, and Delivery Dates and other relative values.
- Communicate all discrepancies on the above via manual and systematic processes.
- Enter item data into procurement systems.
- Review documents to determine completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
- Work with document submitting teammate/department to resolve any issues.
- Understand and apply different requirements for various data tables and fields by customer.
- Provide input for process improvements and process/procedure documentation.
- Learn other areas of the department to fill in for teammates and expand knowledge base.
A teammate in this position must:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years' work experience in a demanding paced work setting.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to adapt to multiple tasks in an ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to adapt to adjust to frequent system and process changes and enhancements.
- Speed and accuracy in typing and 10-key touch data entry.
