This position reports to:

Account Manager__The Midwest Sales Specialist – East will manage relationships with approximately one dozen Manufacturer Sales Representatives for Midwest Electrical Products.

Your role and responsibilities:

Drive and ensure profitable growth by focusing on the Midwest Electrical Products’ market penetration and expansion activities.

Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.

Identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.

Interface closely with all stakeholders including Sales Managers, Reps, Commercial Operations & Strategic Customers to develop understanding of areas of opportunity and to provide executable proposals.

Leverage breadth and depth of Commercial Operations team by collaborating with peers.

Participate in the negotiation of key contracts.

Understand and address commercial factors such as project duration, project location and basic terms and conditions.

Provide guidance to the teams and seek knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.

Qualifications for the role:

Minimum 10 years of market experience with contract negotiations and/or sales role in the electrical distribution industry

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related discipline

Knowledge of electrical distribution and/or electrical construction industry

Experience managing sales reps preferred
