DB Global Technology, Inc. (Deutsche Bank Group) is seeking an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to participate in the full application development lifecycle for Java applications, microservices, and reusable components.
Responsibilities- Participate in the full application development lifecycle for Java applications, microservices, and reusable components to support overall business objectives.
- Execute migration of applications to Spring Boot, Kafka, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Liquibase.
- Develop and integrate Kafka event sourcing for real‑time data processing.
- Design and deploy containerized applications using Docker, orchestrated with Kubernetes and Open Shift for optimized scalability.
- Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Integrate Spring Security and Keycloak authentication to ensure secure authentication, authorization, and user identity management.
- Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing; automate workflows using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Architect and develop RESTful APIs and microservices to streamline automation processes and efficiently handle high‑volume transactions.
- Optimize database performance for MySQL and Oracle, reducing query execution time and improving system response.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the areas outlined above.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Liquibase, Keycloak, Spring Security, MySQL, Oracle, and RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Experience with automation workflows in CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
