Overview
Wright Technical Services is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer who is passionate about the food & beverage manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate. Highlights for this role include:

- Working with the latest in controls and SCADA technology.

- Travel is next to nil, as your primary function is supporting your home plant.

- Our client has a near perfect ranking on
- Develop/Install/Commission Plant Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development & MES Data Collection.
- Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support.
- Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware and Communication Protocols.
- Develop/Enforce Process Control Standards.
- Partner with and direct 3rd Party Technology and Automation Partners.
- Minimum of 5 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods or similar industry.
- Advanced Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (Control Logix) is required.
- Advanced HMI Development is required, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry or a similar industry with high sanitary standards utilizing CIP cleaning.
- Experience with .NET programming and SQL Databases is preferred.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP Communication is preferred.
- Excellent formal and informal Communication Skills, Professional Attitude, and Professional Appearance.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Industry experience may be considered in absence of a degree.
- Open to limited travel.

- Must be based in the Dallas area or willing to relocate.
Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 per year
