Job Title:
Exterior Trim Launch Engineer
Location:
Casa Grande, AZ
- Launch support of automotive exterior component parts in manufacturing plant
- Excellent product knowledge of Exterior trim components (Bumper, Cladding, Spoiler, Door exterior trim, Front Grill, Garnish, Mudguard, Emblem )
- Check the quality of components and identify defects if any
- Find the root cause of product issues and provide temporary countermeasure
- Work with cross functional team in the plant to find a permanent solution / design fix for ongoing issues
- Create a CAD proposal in Catia V5 and conduct change management
- Collaborate with key exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and production build events
- Responsible for technical documentation to include DFMEAs, DVP&R’s Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
- Perform feasibility and packaging study
- In-depth knowledge of Plastic tooling
Compensation: $95,000.00 - $ per year
