Quality Resident Engineer

TRIGO Quality Solution is looking for a Full‑time Quality Resident Engineer who is Bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) in Casa Grande, AZ inside the Luci plant. The Quality Resident Engineer serves as the customer's on‑site representative, ensuring satisfaction through technical support, issue resolution, and open communication between Intervention Site and the customer. Build strong relationships, address production problems promptly, suggest improvements, and provide regular updates on claims to maintain trust and credibility.

Responsibilities- Build strong, professional relationships with customers at the plant level.
- Act as the customer's representative, addressing production issues and building credibility through commitments.
- Maintain open communication between Intervention Site and the contracted customer.
- Provide regular updates on claim status and seek customer feedback.
- Monitor competitor activities and report to the TRIGO Resident Engineering Manager.
- Represent the contracted partner's interests and participate in customer meetings as needed.
- Coordinate on‑site repairs/sorting with client approval.
- Analyze and resolve Site issues, informing plants for corrective action.
- Regularly audit customer product handling.
- Support prototypes, pre‑serial builds, trials, launches, and engineering changes.
- Report on a regular basis (defined by the supervisor) to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution.
- Stay updated on technical, quality, and business topics through regular training and meetings.
- Address customer technical requirements and provide support.
- Suggest improvements to both Intervention Site and contracted customer.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Working familiarity with Intervention Site quality systems, including TS‑16949 requirements.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work on call as needed.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships.
- Handle pressure and ambiguity effectively.
- Take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
- Demonstrate integrity and represent the company well.

- Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action reporting.
- Experience in read‑across function.
- Process and product audits experience.
- Shipping and receiving knowledge.
- Strong personality able to give direction and lead teams.
- Sequencing and automotive parts (preferred).
- Tier 1 experience (preferred).
Preferred:
Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
