Drive manufacturing excellence for a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer by optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and supporting the assembly of next‑generation sustainable transportation vehicles.

We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our client's production operations in the premium electric vehicle industry. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply industrial engineering principles to cutting‑edge automotive manufacturing, optimize production workflows, and directly impact the quality and efficiency of luxury EV production.

• Conduct time, motion, and methods studies to establish standard production rates and improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze production operations including maintenance, assembly, and material handling processes.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Verify production records, processing sheets, and specifications adhere to quality assurance standards.
• Plan work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
• Prepare workflow charts, graphs, routing diagrams, floor layouts, and material handling visualizations.
• Create engineering drawings and technical documentation for process improvements.
• Collaborate with management and engineering teams to optimize production systems.
• Utilize CAD software for layout planning and process design.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer‑generated reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field).
• 5-7 years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Ability to create engineering drawings, sketches, and technical computations.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong team collaboration abilities.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of production optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
