Calibration Technician – Night Shift

What You’ll Do

As a Calibration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • Perform Multi-Discipline Calibrations: Execute calibrations across various measurement systems to maintain precision and compliance.
  • Develop Standards and Specifications: Generate equipment specification documents and research calibration standards to support quality processes.
  • Automate and Innovate: Automate single-discipline calibration functions and design calibration fixtures for efficiency.
  • Select and Apply Standards: Choose appropriate calibration standards based on tolerance accuracy ratios, specifications, and measurement uncertainty.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and resolve out-of-tolerance devices, perform simple repairs, and implement preventive measures.
  • Analyze and Report: Conduct data analysis, review out-of-tolerance reports, and document calibration tasks using specialized software.
  • Maintain Tools and Equipment: Order tools and parts, maintain calibration equipment, and ensure safety precautions are followed.
  • Train and Mentor: Provide formal training to equipment users and junior technicians, answer technical questions, and offer guidance.
  • Manage Workflow: Establish priorities, maintain work schedules, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of calibration experience with dimensional, electrical, and physical equipment.
