Position: Processing Operator 1 - Day Shift (6am-6pm) Casa Grande, AZ (Open)

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Work On

  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety systems throughout manufacturing operations.
  • Manufacture liquid nutritional products and operate blending, heat treatment, and CIP systems.
  • Handle raw ingredients, including weighing, staging, and unloading bulk materials.
  • Operate production equipment and computer-integrated systems; accurately document processes.
  • Perform cleaning (CIP/COP) and maintain housekeeping standards.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $24 per hour
  • Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Schedule:
    Enjoy every other weekend off with a consistent 4-week rotation:

Sample Rotation:

  • Week 1:
    Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
  • Week 2:
    Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
  • Week 3:
    Same as Week 1
  • Week 4:
    Same as Week 2

This schedule offers stability and work-life balance while providing opportunities for overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and operate powered industrial vehicles
  • Good mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a plant production environment (preferably in drug, food, or beverage manufacturing)
