** Labor & Delivery RN**, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of patients with Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. Established in 1984, Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is a full-service, non-profit, hospital committed to providing quality health care to the Casa Grande Valley as well as the surrounding areas in a caring and compassionate  your role as a
** Registered Nurse with our L&D**, you will support the clinical needs of our Women and Infant Services Unit. Our new Women and Infant Services Unit is an all in one department. We operate as a Level II facility with 4 LDR rooms, 12 postpartum rooms, 4 triage, 4 Level II NICU beds, and 2 OR suites.  We average 60-80 deliveries per month.  

The our team is looking to hire an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to be part of a unit that supports the patient and family in their wishes for their birth experience. This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses who love to grow their knowledge and skills alongside a supportive team!  Opportunity to work 3x12-hour shifts,
** Days** **(7:00AM - 7:30PM)
** with weekend rotations. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.###  Eligibility for the sign-on bonus requires 1+ years of Labor & Delivery experience.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
