Provide primary and preventive healthcare by assessing patients, collecting medical histories, diagnosing conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing individualized care plans.
Perform clinical procedures including immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care. Deliver patient counseling and make appropriate referrals. Document all patient care and support triage and continuity of care.
Additional Responsibilities (as Applicable)- Supervise and educate other healthcare staff
- Participate in on-call responsibilities
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning
- Proficiency in ordering/interpreting tests and prescribing medications
- Competence in immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care
- Excellent patient communication, counseling, and referral skills
- Accurate, timely medical documentation
- Ability to support triage and maintain continuity of care
