Position: Senior Portfolio Finance Manager Future Markets
In this role you will serve as the financial cornerstone of Fluence’s project execution, owning contract administration, budgeting, and financial forecasting across infrastructure portfolios. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, transparency, and robust financial insight that informs project decisions. You’ll translate complex project economics into actionable analytics and drive profitability through effective change order management and supplier claims.

Partner with project managers to provide real-time visibility into budgets and financial performance
Coordinate with construction subcontractors and maintenance providers to meet quality and timelines
Apply contract management expertise to document review, change orders, and risk/opportunity analysis
Analyze critical project documentation including purchase requisitions and invoices
Lead comprehensive project reviews from initiation to completion with timely, comprehensive reporting and forecasting
Enhance project profitability through strategic management of change orders and supplier claims
Communicate financial insights effectively to project teams
Maintain budget integrity with accurate monthly accruals
Ensure financial accuracy through monitoring, auditing, and reconciliation of project financials
Ensure compliance with Import VAT, Customs Duties and all tax requirements relevant to project execution
Bachelor's degree in accounting, (international) finance, business administration, or equivalent training
Minimum 3 years' experience managing construction projects and long-term service contracts
Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle activities and financial implications
Advanced contract management skills with negotiation experience
Proficiency with SAP, Unifier and other corporate financial systems
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point
Willingness to travel up to 20%
Fluency in both English and Italian
