Summary

The Construction Project Manager will plan, direct, and lead activities of a designated construction project to achieve objectives within budget and time‑frame. In addition, the role will support the installation and commissioning of integrated, modular, and packaged systems in renewable energy, traditional energy, and mining projects. The candidate must perform quality work safely, be detail‑oriented, and have superior customer focus while working independently and in a team environment.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintain Roeslein & Associates core values for safe and efficient operation.
  • Represent the organization as a liaison to customers, adhere to contracts, and resolve issues with urgency.
  • Operate in compliance with company and client standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead daily on‑site and off‑site meetings, providing subcontractors detailed status lists.
  • Establish goals, deadlines, and work plans within specific project parameters.
  • Communicate effectively with project staff, outline work plans, and assign duties.
  • Direct flow consistent with the project schedule.
  • Manage staff associated with mechanical, electrical, and controls system installation and integration.
  • Manage the budget and required change orders for the construction project.
  • Assist the Project Manager with cost forecasts and financial projections.
  • Manage the punch list action items and closeout process through Functional Installation Check‑out acceptance.
  • Monitor and adjust project plans based on changes.
  • Travel domestically and internationally 50‑60% of the time; local travel 30‑50%.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
  • Conduct activities safely and healthily, following safety and company requirements.
  • Be responsible for site cost, schedule, safety, productivity, and full understanding of the scope of work.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all company team members on‑site, adhering to the standards of quality, ethics, and safety.
  • Oversee contractor installation methods to ensure quality and safety.
  • Serve as a point of contact with the customer, handling communication professionally and timely.
  • Lead and participate in regular internal and external progress meetings, communicating progress to plan, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Review subcontractor bid documents and change requests against the contracted scope of work.
  • Keep proper documentation of all issues regarding the project, including change orders, bid results, agreements, field reports, schedules, and punch list documentation.
  • Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skill / Ability / Education / Experience
  • 5‑10+ years of experience in a construction setting, large steel and pipe assembly, refinery, or PSM covered process.
  • Bachelor’s or associate technical degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30‑hr certificate preferred.
  • Basic drafting skills and methods required; basic AutoCAD knowledge required.
  • Interpret mechanical, civil, and structural engineering notes, plans, and sketches for integration into design documents.
  • Interpret electrical and control engineering notes, plans, and sketches (preferred).
  • Driver’s license in good standing required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required; exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills; effectively learn and acquire new skills.
  • Effective time management, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
  • Effective interaction with co‑workers, clients, vendors, and business contacts.
  • Travel domestically and internationally required.
  • Computer skills and in‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows‑based programs required.
  • Ability to learn, acquire new knowledge and skills, and effectively manage change.
