Gateway Autism Therapies and Education is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team. This role offers professional growth into a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position, with comprehensive training and ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Position OverviewThe Behavior Technician will deliver evidence‑based behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in clinic and home settings. Under the direct supervision of a BCBA, the BT will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2 to 15 years
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
- Participate in ongoing training to develop clinical competencies in behavior analysis
- Attend regular supervision and team meetings to review client progress and refine interventions
- Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical documentation for treatment sessions
- Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals involved in treatment
- Maintain a structured schedule and demonstrate punctuality and reliability
