Weare seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procedure Scheduler tojoin our team in Casper, WY. This role provides day-to-day oversight of the scheduling team and acts as a liaison between leadership and staff. The Lead Procedure Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring a seamless patient experience,and supporting team performance and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the scheduling team to ensure excellent patient experiences.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient procedures, including patient preparation guidance.
  • Monitor team performance and elevate issues to leadership as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve team and departmental goals.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and patients.
Requirements and

Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or other scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding and medical terminology preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience scheduling surgeries or procedures preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory procedure scheduling role preferred.
