Tech Equipment Analyst

The purpose of the Technology Equipment Analyst is to support Wyoming Machinery Company customers to effectively manage, monitor, and maintain all Cat Digital Technology applications.

• The Technology Equipment Analyst will help provide customized solutions using equipment management and technology solutions to increase productivity, decrease unplanned downtime, schedule maintenance, and increase the overall value of Wyoming Machinery Company to our customers.
• The Technology Equipment Analyst must have a working knowledge of Caterpillar Digital Technology products such as Cat ET, SIS, Cat Central, Product Link, Vision Link, Cat Remote Fleet Vision, Cat Remote Asset Monitoring, Product Link Web, , VIMS, CAT Foresight, Creating UCID and CWS IDs, and Dealer Maintenance Tool. .
• The Technology Equipment Analyst will be a safety champion in all environments, making safety a number one priority with the goal of zero accidents.
• Must be able to organize and give presentations to both small and large groups.
• The Technology Equipment Analyst must be a team player, working alone at times or in a team environment.
• Must use critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems and provide solutions.
• Monitoring machine health, making parts and service recommendations, and tracking outcomes is also part of this position.
• The Technology Equipment Analyst will travel to locations throughout our territory to assist, support, and train internal and external customers, work with Service Technicians, install Product Link and Product Link Elite technology on machines and engines, and attend training or other conferences as needed.

• The Technology Equipment Analyst will have frequent customer contact and must act in a professional manner and adhere to Wyoming Machinery Company standards of performance and conduct.
• This person will help to explore opportunities for the Technology Department on future products.
• The Technology Enabled Analyst will also gather and update information about the customer as needed, such as equipment lists.
• Any additional projects required by the Technology group.

• A minimum of a High School diploma.
• The Technology Equipment Analyst must have advanced computer skills and must be competent with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess critical thinking skills, be a problem solver, and have the ability to troubleshoot technology products.
• Must be able to effectively communicate to all experience levels either orally and writing in English.
• The Technology Enabled Analyst must be a safety minded, organized, and a team player.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• MSHA certification may be necessary.

• Advanced training or degree in a technology or computer related field is preferred.
• A background in electronics, technology, information technology, and engines is preferred.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar Technology Products is a plus.

• Material and equipment directly used: personal computer and Cat software programs.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner
• Walk, sit, or stand 6 – 8 hours a day
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in field under adverse weather conditions
• Some overnight travel required
• 8 hour shift within the normal operating hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with some occasional weekend, evening, or night work.
