Director of Nursing (Offering a $15,000 Relocation Bonus)
Location: Casper Mountain Rehabilitation and Care Center, Casper, Wyoming

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing in Wyoming.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing and long‑term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage multiple patient needs effectively.
  • First aid and CPR certifications.
  • In‑depth understanding of resident care policies and regulations.
Job Description:
  • The Director of Nursing (DON) is an RN responsible for overseeing the nursing care provided to residents. This role ensures compliance with regulations and manages the nursing staff. The DON leads the nursing program, implements policies and procedures, and works to maintain a safe and high‑quality care environment.
  • Leadership:
    Oversee and supervise all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Resident Care:
    Ensure that residents receive appropriate and effective care, which includes care planning, medication management, and pain management.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation:
    Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality and safety in care delivery.
  • Staff Management:
    Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, address performance issues, and ensure staff compliance with regulations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and standards.
  • Communication:
    Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any concerns.
  • Staffing:
    Ensure appropriate nurse staffing ratios are maintained at all times; serve as on‑call support and provide direct patient care as needed to maintain continuity and quality of care.
