Overview

RMS Cranes & Rigging Inc. is seeking experienced full-time crane operators for our Casper, WY branch. You must meet all of the requirements below to be considered for this position. • Review the next day s job assignments at the end of the shift and ensure all necessary rigging and equipment are ready before ending the shift.
• Complete Field Ticket and submit to the local branch office. If other chargeable equipment is used, note it on the Field Ticket.
• Complete payroll book daily with hours worked. Hours must be reported to the local branch office no later than 10:00 a.m. every Monday.
• If not on a job assignment, inform the supervisor and stay productive by inspecting, cleaning, and performing maintenance on the equipment.
• Carry and respond to phone/pagers promptly.
• Assist in the training of safe crane operation practices.
• Periodically review assigned crane and other model cranes’ service and operation manuals.
• Clean, inspect, and reorganize equipment in shop and yard; maintain a clean shop, wash rack, and break room.
• Read, interpret, and calculate load capacity using crane owner and operation manuals and load charts.
• Program the crane s computer in the proper setup mode and set up the crane on location safely and professionally.
• Ensure the signal person understands and performs proper hand signals before lifting the load.
• Perform proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Inspect crane, truck, and/or trailer and complete a vehicle inspection report before operating the vehicle; submit the report to the local branch office.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Current state-issued Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Current crane operating license (NCCCO).
• 3 or more years of operating hydraulic cranes required.
• Ability to operate crane by reading and responding to hand signals.

• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, safety regulations, and maintain records.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.

Salary:
Casper, WY $60,000 - $120,000
