Our client is a well established UK commercial building services organisation seeking an electrically biased shift engineer to work on a high profile commercial M&E maintenance contract. The role involves working as part of a multi-skilled team covering planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems on a day-shift basis (7am – 5pm, 5 on, 2 off, 3 on, 6 off).

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems on a high-profile commercial M&E contract as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Operate within a data centre/critical site or similar environment; support continuous operation and reliability of critical systems.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical personnel to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

• Background in Data Centre / Critical site engineering & property maintenance, or as an electrician from a building services background seeking entry to the data centre industry.
• Good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Plant (LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHUs, Generators, Pumps & BMS).
• HV/LV qualifications or the experience to become an AP (Authorized Person) is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently when required.

• Permanent position with salary up to £45,000 per annum including call out allowance.
