Position: SHEQ Coordinator (Permanent)
Location: North West Leicestershire

SHEQ Coordinator, £40K salary guide, commutable from Ashby, Coalville, Leicester, Loughborough.

* Are you a proactive SHEQ / QHSE / Health and Safety Coordinator / Health and Safety Officer / H&S professional that will enjoy coordinating health, safety and quality (SHEQ) across a growing engineering SME?

* Up to £40,000 salary guide + benefits including 25 days holiday & company pension.

* Role could suit a candidate working in a SHEQ / QHSE role or Health & Safety professional looking to develop their quality systems / ISO 9001 experience.

Your background as a SHEQ Coordinator / Health and Safety Coordinator:

* You will have previously worked in a SHEQ / QHSE, Health & Safety or HSE role, ideally within an engineering, industrial, or manufacturing setting.

* You will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification).

* You are an effective communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

* You enjoy working both independently and alongside diverse teams to drive a positive safety culture.

SHEQ Coordinator / Health and Safety Coordinator responsibilities:

* Coordinating health, safety, and quality compliance across multiple local sites.

* Promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring all activities meet legal and company standards.

* Carrying out risk assessments, COSHH reviews, audits, and incident investigations.

* Delivering internal quality and safety training, inductions, and briefings.

* Maintaining and improving Quality, H&S systems and records.

* Providing practical advice and support to colleagues at every level of the organisation.
